CRC Commissioners, full-time or part-time employees of the CRC , members of the judging panel and sponsors of the awards are not eligible to nominate for an award.
Entries should be nominated in the most appropriate category. However, the judges reserve the right to move entries into a category other than that entered if it is considered more appropriate. Entries may be nominated for one category only. The judging panel may decide to present awards to more than one entry in one category. The judging panel may also decide not to present an award in a category where entries are not considered to merit an award. Nominees are encouraged to provide any additional material to support their entry.
Assessment of Entries
Criteria
All entries should provide full documentation outlining the process of targeting, research, project formulation, implementation and measurement of outcomes. The judging panel will be specifically looking at campaigns that clearly demonstrate the following:
- How well the strategy has considered aspects of cultural diversity as a basis for producing, exporting or marketing a product, service, event, etc.
- The role that the culturally diverse workforce played in the marketing of the product or service, for example, the use of staffs language skills, cultural skills, knowledge or networks.
- How the product or service impacted upon its target audience and the impression it created, given the size of the financial resources and other resources used in marketing the product or service.
- Originality and innovation of the product or service.
The project which is being nominated should have been completed, or put into operation, within the 18 months prior to the close of nominations on 31 August 2011.
Entrants are encouraged to include any relevant additional materials to support their entry. All joint entries should be submitted in agreement with both parties.
