2008 Nomination Criteria
Conditions of Entry
Any person or organisation from Australia is eligible to nominate for an award. Marketing initiatives that have either been completed or in operation 18 months prior to the closing of nominations may be nominated. The initiatives may have:
- used our cultural diversity as a base for producing, exporting or marketing a product, service, event, etc
- targeted a particular market by way of language, culture or ethnicity
- broken out of the traditional marketing mould in an attempt to reach a wider market within a culturally diverse society
- used the language and cultural skills of their staff to market a product or service either domestically or internationally
- used innovative multicultural marketing techniques in a mass media context
CRC Commissioners, full-time or part-time employees of the CRC , members of the judging panel and sponsors of the awards are not eligible to nominate for an award.

Entries should be nominated in the most appropriate category. However, the judges reserve the right to move entries into a category other than that entered if it is considered more appropriate. Entries may be nominated for one category only. Nominees may enter in more than one category provided it is a different initiative.The judging panel may decide to present awards to more than one entry in one category. It may also decide not to present an award in a category where entries are not considered to merit an award. Nominees are encouraged to provide any additional material to support their entry.
