Important Dates

March

The Annual Community Relations Report is presented to the Premier by the CRC before the end of March of each year.

April - May

The Annual Community Relations Report tabled in Parliament by the Premier.

May and ongoing

The CRC conducts seminars and corresponds with agencies on their Ethnic Affairs Priorities Statements (EAPS) responsibilities.

May - June

All agencies revise their EAPS, including initiatives, strategies, resource allocations, managerial responsibilities and performance indicators

Key agencies are asked to liaise with the CRC in the development of their EAPS.

July - August

Key agencies finalise their EAPS. All agencies are required to include information on EAPS in their annual report

End of September

Key agencies are required to submit their current EAPS forward plan and a self-assessment report against the EAPS standards framework for the past year.

December

All agencies which report on a financial year ending 30 June must send their annual report to the CRC as soon as it is tabled in Parliament. Agencies are requested to advise the CRC if the tabling of their report has been delayed.

Agencies which do not report on a financial reporting cycle ending 30 June must send their latest tabled Annual Report to the CRC by December

December - January

The CRC prepares a draft Community Relations Report

January - February

The CRC provides sections of the draft Community Relations Report to selected agencies for comment
