Did you Know? Exhibition Now Open

The Did You Know? Exhibition aims to showcase migration experience and history so as to provide an opportunity for young pilgrims visiting Sydney for World Youth Day to learn more about the important role migrants have played in the economic and social development of Australia.

The Commission is confident that the pilgrims will be inspired by the high level of harmony and unity that exists in the Australian society which itself reflects the diversity of the whole world.

The exhibits will feature the contributions to Australian culture and economy of peoples from the Cambodian, Indonesian, Jewish, Sikh, Islamic, Buddhist, Italian, Chinese and Japanese communities.

The exhibition which has free entry will be presented at Level 4, The Terrace, Australian Museum, Corner of College and William Streets, Sydney between 15-17 July 2008 at the Australian Museum from 10am to 5pm immediately opposite Hyde Park and St Mary’s Cathedral.
