Premier hosts Vaisakhi celebration in Parliament House

The Premier, Nathan Rees, the Minister for Citizenship, Virginia Judge, the Leader of the House, John Aquilina, CRC Chair, Stepan Kerkyasharian with Members of Parliament and members of the Sikh community at the Vaisakhi celebrations at Parliament House Sydney.

The Premier Nathan Rees hosted the celebration of Vaisakhi, the Punjabi New Year, on 6th May, in the Jubilee Room of the New South Wales Parliament. The gathering, the fourth of its kind in the New South Wales Parliament, was attended by many members of the Punjabi and Sikh communities, members of Parliament and other community leaders.
