The Premier of NSW Nathan Rees addresses the ethnic media conference in Sydney

The Premier and Minister for the Arts, Nathan Rees, has appointed Ernest Wong as a policy adviser on citizenship issues. Mr Wong was introduced to representatives of the ethnic media at a conference at the Premiers Office. Mr Wong is a Councillor of Burwood Council and a former Mayor of the municipality. The media conference, the first given by Mr Rees since becoming Premier, was attended by twenty-five editors, reporters and other media professionals, representing ethnic press, radio and TV.
