CRC Act Review

Review of the Community Relations Commission and Principles of Multiculturalism Act 2000

Part 4, Section 27 of the Community Relations Commission and Principles of Multiculturalism Act 2000 requires the Minister to review the Act to determine whether the policy objectives of the Act remain valid, and whether the terms of the Act remain appropriate to securing those objectives.

Ms Irene Moss AO was engaged by the Community Relations Commission on behalf of the Premier and Minister for Citizenship to conduct the review. The review of the Act was tabled in the NSW Legislative Council on 19 June 2007.

The report presents the independent findings of the reviewer.
